Herbaceous, upright, mounding perennial. Palmately lobed green leaves. Blooms in spring with erect, terminal flower spikes in a variety of colors including blue, purple, white and pink, often with a center (bee) of another color. Great for cottage gardens and the back of beds and borders.  Excellent cut flower.
