Common Name: Bunchberry
Low-growing perennial with veined, oval to elliptic, glossy green leaves in clusters of four or six. Four white bracts surround a cluster of small greenish flowers blooming in late spring. Flowers give way to berry-like drupes maturing to bright red in summer. Great as a groundcover for shady gardens and woodland edges.
