Evergreen shrub with pointed, oblong to needle-like, olive to dark green leaves and scaly brown bark. Male plants have inconspicuous pollen cones in early spring and female plants produce red, berry-like cones surrounding a single seed which is ornamental. Great for foundation plantings, mass plantings and as a screen or hedge.
