Aromatic, evergreen tree or large shrub with leathery, thick, elliptic, glossy green leaves. Small, yellow-green flowers bloom in spring. If the flowers on female plants are pollinated they will be followed by purple-black berries containing single seeds. Great specimen for patios, herb and woodland gardens. Can also be grown indoors.
