Host plant for monarch butterfly caterpillars and a valuable nectar source for various pollinators.  Upright, clump forming habit.  Large, broad oblong leaves.  Small pink-purple flowers create globe shaped clusters.  Best suited for meadow naturalized area. Summer bloomer.
