Common Name: Red and Purple Grapes
Woody, deciduous, tendril-climbing vine with large, shallowly-three-lobed, green leaves. Fragrant greenish flowers bloom in panicles in spring. Flowers are followed by pinkish-red, reddish-purple or deep purple, seedless or seeded fruit (depending on variety) that ripen from mid-summer to early fall. Fruit is excellent for a variety of culinary uses.
