Prefers average to rich, medium moisture, loamy, well-drained soil and full sun. Tolerates light shade especially in hot summer climates and a wide range of soils. Dense, upright, mounded, deciduous shrub with oval, toothed, green, blue-green or chartreuse leaves. Tiny red, pink or white flowers in flat-topped or rounded clusters bloom from late spring to mid-summer, sparse and intermittent repeat blooming may occur. Great for rock gardens, shrub borders as a specimen or a low hedge.
