Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Prefers moist, well-drained, sandy loam, slightly acidic to neutral soil and full sun. Pruning can be done in late summer or in late winter/early spring. Plants can be fertilized 3 to 5 years after planting, in spring/early summer with organic matter or a balanced fertilizer. Mulching is beneficial.

Dwarf tree with an upright habit and round crown. Fragrant white flowers bloom in spring. Large, red to yellow, tart fruit matures in early to mid summer. Some varieties are self-pollinating. Great for home orchards.
