Large, upright, clump-forming habit with arching green foliage. Foliage takes on a purple hue in fall and turns tan in winter. Small, pink-tinged flowers bloom in late summer on feathery inflorescences which turn silvery as the seed sets and can last well into winter. Great as a specimen, in mass plantings, borders and near water features.
