Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Prefers full sun and deep, medium moisture, organically rich, well-drained soil. Feed yearly with an organic fertilizer in early spring. Water occasionally once established. Pruning can be done when dormant in late winter, removing broken and crossing branches and to open up the canopy, encouraging good air flow. Mulching is beneficial.
