Upright evergreen shrub with green to blue-green scale-like foliage that may turn brown-green in winter. Male pollen cones are small and papery emerging in late winter - early spring. Female plants produce round, gray to blackish-green berry-like cones that ripen in fall of the first year. Great for privacy screens, shrub borders and as specimen plants.
