Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Tall bearded iris produces the most flowers in full sun, but will tolerate partial sun.  The most important thing for growing is that there is good drainage at all times of the year, bearded iris will not tolerate wet feet.  Fertilize in spring, when blooming and again in fall.  Divide every 3-4 years to maintain plant health and maintain best blooming.
