Common Name: St. John's Wort
Small, dense shrub with with willow-like, bluish-green leaves, foliage is evergreen but may have some leaf drop. Golden yellow, five-petaled flowers with a distinctive center boss of yellow stamens bloom in mid to late summer. Beaked, five-lobed seed capsules follow the flowers and are ornamental into the winter. Great as a low hedge, in borders and naturalized areas.
