Compact, deciduous shrub with toothed, ovate, green leaves. Long-blooming flowers appear in flattened clusters with scattered showy sterile florets forming an outer ring around the tiny interior flowers, blooming mid summer to early fall. Flower color is based on pH. Great mass planted in a sheltered location, in shrub borders and as a specimen.
