Excellent choice for middle or back of the garden perennial. Some newer varieties are shorter and work well as a border or filler plant.  Beautiful sunflower-like flowers all summer long!  Plants are bushy and upright.  A tough, vigorous, low maintenance garden.  A pollinator magnet!



Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Easily grown in average, dry to medium, well-drained soil in full sun. Tolerates drought, but does best if regularly watered. Tolerates a wide range of soils.  Remove spent flowers to extend bloom season. Plant stems may be cut back by 1/3 in late spring to encourage a bushier plant. Note: After trimming, blooming will be delayed a couple of weeks but will extend later in the season.
