Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Prefers average to fertile, consistently moist soil. Not drought tolerant and partial shade in hot climates is beneficial. Best grown in full sun to partial shade. Plants can be divied in spring. Plants self-seed and can form large colonies in good conditions. Foliage looks best with consistent moisture but if looking scraggly in summer cut back hard to promote new growth.
