Small, mounding, semi-evergreen grass with finely-textured, blue-gray foliage.  Light green flowers with a purple tinge bloom in late spring to early summer. Buffy seed heads follow the flowers. Great for edging borders and paths, as a small area ground cover or as an accent plant.

Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Prefers average, dry to medium, well-drained soil and full sun. Tolerates light shade, drought and poor soils. Avoid wet, poorly-drained soil. Clumps tend to die out in the center and should be divided every 2-3 years. Old foliage can be cut back in early spring and if the foliage declines during summer heat to tidy it.
