Evergreen perennial with spreading, mat-forming habit. Narrow, linear to lance-shaped leaves, green to grey-green. Heavily fringed or smooth and rounded, often fragrant double or single flowers. Blooms come in a wide variety of colors such as white, yellow, pink and red. Blooms in late spring through summer. Great for rock gardens, the fronts of borders, as an edging plant or in containers.

Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Prefers average, medium moisture, well-drained soil. Grows well in full sun and tolerates some afternoon shade in hot summer climates. Propagate plants by division and/or re-seeding. Cut back spent flowers to prevent any unwanted re-seeding if desired. Ensure good drainage and air flow around the plants to prevent center die out and other issues.
