Grow in part-full sun. Prefers moist, well drained alkaline soil. Adding lime to soil annually will benefit plant. Keep soil moist and shade root system with a heavy layer of mulch.
When planting, plant it 3" deeper than the original pot, buryinng the first set of leaves to encourage strong shoots.
