Homeowner Growing and Maintenance Tips:
Prefers full sun with partial afternoon shade during summer and organically rich soil with consistent moisture. Avoid soggy conditions and fertilize with an all-purpose fertilizer. Plants do best in cooler spring and fall weather but can still be grown through summer just with more frequent bolting. Removing flowers prolongs the growth and better taste of the foliage.
