Impatiens plants grow well in partial to full shade. They prefer rich, moist (not wet) soil that drains well. Water them regularly. Add a general purpose fertilizer once a month. In containers, pots and baskets, water every 3-4 weeks with a liquid fertilizer in place of dry fertilizers.?Impatiens are susceptible to frost. Impatiens grow 16-18" tall.
